Wethi Samai (“We-thee Sa-mai”) was an experimental art initiative founded by Chumpon Apisuk and fellow artists around 1985, with support from the Bhirasri Institute of Modern Art. Held monthly from September to December, the four-session program concluded with a final gathering at Ko Sak, Pattaya.

Wethi Samai featured performance art, poetry readings, songs for life, and folk music from across Thailand.
